Meet Our Preschool Director
Mrs. Lisa Barquin has been a dedicated member of the San Francisco de Asís Catholic School family for more than 25 years and has been connected to our school community for three decades. Her journey began when her oldest son entered first grade, and all three of her and her husband's sons proudly attended and graduated from San Francisco de Asís Catholic School.

Inspired by the strong academic and faith-filled foundation her own children received, Mrs. Barquin has devoted her career to providing that same experience for the next generation of students. She believes that parents are the primary educators of their children and considers it a privilege to partner with families in fostering each child's academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth in a loving Catholic environment.

Under Mrs. Barquin's leadership, San Francisco de Asís Catholic Preschool has earned Arizona's prestigious Quality First 5-Star rating, reflecting her commitment to excellence in early childhood education and continuous program improvement. She is passionate about creating a joyful learning environment where every child is known, loved, and encouraged to discover their God-given gifts.

Mrs. Barquin's favorite saint is St. Padre Pio, whose steadfast faith inspires her daily. Her favorite Scripture verse is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."

This verse reflects the faith, perseverance, and love that guide her leadership and her commitment to serving the children and families of San Francisco de Asís Catholic Preschool.
